The AFANT Ladies Fishing Clinic was held last weekend and despite the wet weather, the afternoon at the Walkabout Lodge last Sunday was very well attended. Over 100 ladies turned out for the afternoon and participated in practical skill sessions included casting with 3 different rod and reel combinations, lessons on several terminal tackle knots for various fishing styles and tackle advise on what , how and when to rig up lines to catch the big ones this weekend. Many teams previewed their fancy dress costumes prior to this weekend’s event, and it was clear that Gove is in for another big weekend. PS watch out for pirate ships on the high seas and party boats at anchor this weekend !!!!! Read the rest of this entry ?
